New Year's Eve Day

I want to wish all my readers a very Happy and Healthy New Year.  It's so hard to believe that another year has come and gone.  Where does the time go!

What are your plans for ringing in the New Year?

I guess are plans are to go to the WEAA for food and drinks with our friends.  They put on a spread for their members and don't charge anything.  Where can you go for a nice time and it doesn't cost you to eat.  All you pay for is your drinks and they aren't expensive.  But I don't really drink so I'll be a cheap date, LOL. 

Rekindle Your Relationship for 2008

There seems to be too many breakups in marriage or longtime relationships that we so do take for granted.

I AM BORED!

I am so bored, so I don't know which template I want for my blog. Be patient with me as I may change it everyday to see which one I like the best. This is my pink feeling for today.

Our Shaggy Dutchess II

This is our Dutchess II, she is relaxing in my lounge chair.  Our other Ducthess used to do the same thing.  She is following in her footsteps, LOL.

Here are my three babies.

From left to right, we have Cody our yellow lab, he is 9 years old.  Next we have Patches our shit-pooh (our little one) we call her, she is 9 months old.  Third we have Dutchess II our golden-doodle, she is 7 months old.  I call her my puppy from hell.  The reason why I call her that is she lives up to the golden retrievers.  She ate my cell phone last week because her daddy didn't pay attention to her.  I was outside talking so she wanted to see what she could get into and she found it on my desk.  All in all she is a very loving puppy.  Patches is such a weenie, when it comes to going potty outside in the rain.  She doesn't like getting wet, but she sure likes getting dirty.  At least once a week she gets a bath because of her looking so scrounge from our muddy yard.

God has worked a miracle in this young man's life

How we all fret over the little things.  How we wish we had more of this or more of that, than what we have. God has chosen this young man to share his life with so many people that we all need to look at ourselves and be thankful for so many things.  We are truly all blessed with something.

A Traffic Controller for a School in Ohio

I got this article from a friend in Ohio.  It was published in her local newspaper.  A school crossing guard dressed as a Christmas Tree, but they are called traffic controllers in that state.

The Stampede Band

Here is the "Stampede Band" performing live at Frankie & Johnny's Island Park Bar & Grill, in Buttsville, NJ.  The song is Smoke on the Water.

From left to right we have J.R. on lead & vocals, Chuck on bass & vocals, Gene on piano & vocals, and Paul on drums.

This was Paul's first gig with the band.  He and his wife Lynn are a very nice couple and we welcome them to the band family.

Our first SNOW Day from School

The weather is a bit frightful out there today, so every school in our viewing area has canceled school.  So, my plans for today is to do the wash, vacuuming, dusting, and anything else I don't have the time to do.  Well, I think I'll skip all that and just relax and watch the dust bunnies collect, LOL.

What are your plans for today on this frightful weather day?

No, really I will try to get some of those things done, while chasing 2 puppies around the house and keeping them safe from chewing everything in site, LOL.

My poor floors are going to be all mud, YUK.

This is Cody, he is our senior dog.  He is 10 years old.  He loves sleeping in my chair, cuz it is so comfy. 

Dutchess II

Dutchess used to be able to fit in Patches's crate, but no more.  She has gotten so BIG.

Gizmo and Snowball

Gizmo, which we call Gizzy and his brother Snowball, which we call whitey.  It is hard to believe that they are brothers because Gizzy has long hair and Whitey has short hair.  They are both part Himalayan Cats.

Chuck brought them home from work during February, when we were having a snow storm.  A painting contractor came into the Duron Paint Store with these kittens asking if he knew someone who wanted kittens.  Of course he had to call me.  And I said yes.

She is so funny.  You thought she was put through the wringer, LOL!  She looks drunk in the first picture.

A Night at Brewhaha's

Friday Night the Stampede Band played at Brewhaha on Belvidere Road in Harmony, New Jersey.  We had some of our good friends come on out and join us for a bit.  They couldn't stay long because it was a late night startup, from 10:30-1:30.

Where this bar is located in this room used to be the dining hall.  They moved the bar from the other room to here and created a new dining room.  Really good food and the prices are bad at all.  From 10 PM Friday and Saturday all alcoholic are $3.50, shots, mixers and drafts.
