the maundy thursday service at michele's church was really nice...we played bells while they stripped the alter and her husband sang a very touching and beautiful song!

I bet I know the song he sang. Our choir director played that song on the trumpet. I can't remember the title, I'm sorry.

Our old choir director sang the same song as we stripped the alter and the auditorium grew dark.

I really enjoy switching my religion from Baptist to Presbyterian because we really learn more on what Holy Thursday and Good Friday is all about. I have learned more about the holy holidays from this church that when I was going to a baptist church.

Jamie, I remember some of the song at my church, it was called "Were You There When our Lord was Crucified." OMG! Is that a beautiful son also. It just brings those tears a streaming on down the face.

I was telling Steph how this service makes you fell afterwards. I don't know if you feel the same, but I just feel so AWE with the love of Jesus in me. How about you?

Michael Card has a great voice, I still have a cassette tape with his singing.

Alanna, Michael Card, is he the one that sings my song, Were You THere when Jesus Was Crucified or Jamie's song, In The Garden?

I would really like to get a copy of that song. It is so beautiful.

Michael Card sings the song "In The Garden". That is just one of his many meaningful Christian songs. Kurt has every album he's ever made, we've seen him in concert (locally as a matter of fact), and whenever he (Kurt) sings in church, it's almost always one of his songs! If you find a picture of Michael Card, too, you'll see that he and Kurt even look alike (lack of hair on the top of the head...LOL!)
