My world consists of my boys and their women in their lives. My grandchildren, who bring such joy to my life. My pets, who I adore very much and love watching them interact with each other. My hubby, Chuck, and his passion, Stampede Band. Plus, any ramblings I want to do. So, I hope you enjoy your visit into "My World" through my eyes.

HAPPY 5th ANNIVERSARY, TOM & STEPHANIE

Today, August 31st is my son, Tom & his wife Stephanie's, 5th wedding anniversary. Wow, I can remember that beautiful day like it was yesterday. They were married in the beautiful Allentown Rose Garden on this very day. The flowers were so lovely for the beautiful setting. They were married by a woman minister inside a gazebo with all their family and friends surrounding them.

Today their happy family has grown to four beautiful children from their love for one another.

Congratulations to you both for reaching this milestone in your life.

We all love you,

Mom & Dad Jarrell

School is Back!

Another start of a school year for Wilson. We have a very, not so bright, elementary principal that created a mess last year with crossing parents and their kids from the main entrance over to the alley, instead of making them walk to the corner where there are crossing guards. Well, this year he has this brainy idea of having passes for the kindergarten and first grade parents to be able to park on S. 21st in front of the school, which will only be able to handle about ten cars, plus mini vans for daycare. I had several parents drive by me and ask me about where to park because it was all parked up. I told them I had no idea and I gather it is first come first serve parking. I witnessed myself him i.e. principal walking across the street to the park bench and told these teens that were waiting for kids getting out, that they aren't allowed to walk them across the street to the alley, that the kids had to go to a corner where there was a crossing guard. I had to go to my corner, so I don't know how it went. He created this mess last year, after being warned and warned about what he was doing, was wrong. Now, he is trying to correct it with something that will also be a problem down the road. Just wait until it starts getting cold, or raining and we have more drivers picking kids up and then we will see how well his plan works out.

It is a wait and see kind of scenario for this new idea he has. Sometimes I wonder where men get their thinking from. We never had a problem until he was made principal and now all hell broke loose.

My Ham's of the Reunion

Tom is getting his 2 cents in for the picture of Jennifer holding Jack and her daughter Emily trying to pull him away.
Rebekah is being thrown up in the air to make a BIG splash in the water.
Our youngest niece Rebekah is so cute looking in this picture. She colored her pretty blonde hair darker.

Fun in the pool!

Janay's boyfriend Matt is having fun with the inner tubes.
Tom and Jennifer just floating around the pool with their butts in the tubes.
Janay is being thrown from her tube.
Tommy was next to get thrown from his tube. They all seem to enjoy the pool and the tubes.

Final Pictures of the Little People

They all sure did enjoy the babies. Looking forward to see how much they have grown in 2010 for the next Jarrell Family Reunion.
Jeri's hubby Bruce and the rest of the family sitting and enjoying the day.
Bruce's daughter Jennifer with her kids Emily & Tristan enjoying some family conversation. Janay who is looking at them with glee.
Looks like Jeri is looking at someone's family photo album, while others are enjoying idle chat. My son Billy is standing in the background looking at the action in the pool before he gets ready to join in the fun.
My son Tom, isn't he such a ham, LOL! Tom looks like he is inviting someone into his arms, I wonder who!
Tom and his father Chuck look like they are talking about something very important by this photo. That is Chuck's thinking stance.

Taking Turns Holding the Little Ones

My daughter-in-law, Stephanie, loves babies and she couldn't wait to hold little Aidan.
Jason, who is Aidan's daddy was trying to hold Stephanie & my son Tom's little boy, Jacob, but Jacob wanted no part of him. That is very unusual because Jacob loves people.
Tommy is holding Aidan, isn't it a nice picture. Tommy is a good daddy.
Doris's hubby Don is holding Aidan with one of their twin daughters watching and her grammy Dee Dee behind them, holding her so she can see the new baby, also.
Becky, who is Aidan's mommy is holding Rebekah's son, Jack, who is Jeri's youngest grandson. So, everyone got to hold the littlest people of the reunion. Babies are so cute.

more family pics of the reunion

It looks like Denise, who is Chuck's cousin and the gang at her table are playing a game. We had to leave when they started playing Bingo, so we couldn't enjoy any of the games, sorry. You can see how hot it is from Denise's face.
Vickie is taking a picture of something, but I don't know what. Denise and Sharon are in conversation of catching up on family news, I guess.
In the background it looks like Emily got hurt, she is Jennifer's daughter, who is Chuck's niece. Jennifer is behind her, as well as, Doris & her brother-in-law, Dr. Jeff. I don't think it is anything serious. Looks like her gram ma Jeri is making it all better. We have Keith walking towards the house getting in view of the camera.

More family pics of the reunion

Chuck's sister, Jeri, and cousin Mike relaxing in the sun porch. Poor Mike is on crutches from having heel surgery on the Tuesday before our reunion. He really couldn't enjoy himself this year like other years. The reunion is held at his and LuAnn's house in Harmony Township, NJ. Jeri is holding the youngest of the Jarrell clan, Aidan, who is Jeri and Chuck's late brother Brian's grandson. Aidan looks so much like Brian, that it is uncanny.
Holly looks like she is holding up the canopy, while talking to her brother-in-law, Mike and his daughter Kelly or Karen, don't know which one it is.
Jill, Jeri, and Uncle Bud, which is Jill's father, look like they are pondering about something. Maybe about the next family reunion, which is every two years, so it will be July of 2010. We all look forward to them. Maybe the next one my sister-in-law, Jan & Mike, her boyfriend, can come up from Florida for it. Let's hope so. I sure do miss her!
