Stampede Band is Playing Saturday at The Old Williams Church

I want to invite anyone who is interested to come on out to The Old Williams Church on Hellertown/Raubsville Road in Williams Township for a little festival. They have a jumper thing for the kids to enjoy. A cake walk, meat wheel, and a little yard sale. They will be having pizza, hamburgers, french fries, soup, salad and other goodies to eat. The band plays from 6-9.

Bring some chairs to relax on or sit in the grass and enjoy the sounds of the STAMPEDE BAND. Hope to see some of our friends and family out for a good time.

Look for pictures to come.

Becky is trying to keep Aidan cool with a wet towel on his head, while Steph, Jeri, and Jacob look on. It was a very hot day!

Steph is getting her table ready so the little ones can eat their food. There was so much food to choose from.

Chuck's New Job

This isn't Chuck of course, but I just wanted to let you all know that he likes his job. He really enjoys going to work for a small company. It reminds him of 25 years ago working for his parents in their paint store. He waited on the customers, while his father did all the outside work of installing floors, windows, doors, or window treatments. This company only sells paint, paint supplies, wallpaper, and wallpaper supplies. He couldn't ask for anything better than this.

Chuck is so knowledgeable when it comes to paint and anything that goes with paint. You ever have a question about different types of paint and what surface to use it on, Chuck would know the answer. I'm so glad this door was opened for him during this time of his life. He only has about 10 years to retirement and this job really fits the bill for him.

Thank you God!

Chuck Has A Job, Yippee!

Chuck found a job and he starts Monday from 9-5. My Lord opened a door for Chuck and I think he will really like this job. The paint career for Chuck started back in 1972, when he was 20 years old working for his parents paint store in Phillipsburg, NJ called Regent Paints. His parents bought the business from an old time Phillipsburg native who owned it, while Chuck's dad was working there for many years. The man wanted to retire and offered to sell the business to Chuck's parents.

Chuck was the manager of the store while his father did all the installing of floors, carpet and later on vinyl windows. Regent Paint was in business until 1983. That business supported us and his parents for 11 years. When the business went out of business, Chuck entered a new career with Sherwin Williams, a year later. He started at the Easton store as an inside salesman. Six months after starting there he was made Operations Manager of the store. I believe three years later he became the Manager of the Quakertown store, until he quit them. He was out of work for one week, when his old District Manager from SW called him at home and said the Duron Paint Co. was looking to hire him. He went out to Allentown and filled out an application and was hired on the spot. He worked for them for ten years, until last August. Three years ago Sherwin Williams bought the Duron Paint Co, because the owners wanted to retire, it was a family run business that cared about their employees. Since, SW bought them Chuck knew his career with the Duron Co. was limited.

After searching and searching for a year and trying one job at the Family Dollar for about three months, he has landed him a job with the Miller's Paint and Wallpaper Inc. He really likes the idea that they are a mom & pop business. The Miller family own five stores in the region from Easton to the Pocono's. He will basically be working out of the Easton store, but will have to travel to the Bethlehem store to help them.

Action Shots of Tom being thrown in the pool

Our granddaughter Maree' and our niece Emily kept trying to get Maree's daddy Tom in the pool.
And it worked! Here is an action shot of him being thrown in the pool by the girls. Way To Go Girls!

Family Fun

Chuck and Jason with Rebekah adding her 2 cents.

Ashley is listening to something on the TV.

Here is a better picture of Ann Marie with her parents, Vicki and John.

Cousin Dr. Jeff and his daughter, Abby, and son, Jeffery with their cousin Conner, in the sun room. They are all inside watching some sport show on TV.

Here is Glen's daughter, Ashley, giving the thumbs up for a GREAT day!

More fun pool pics

Here is Janay being a clown by being carried by her boyfriend Matt, with Emily, who is Jen and Ashley's daughter. We were sorry that Ashley, Jen's husband couldn't be there to enjoy the festivities. I'm sure if he was he would have been right there in the middle of everything.

Here is he man Tom carrying Jason and Tristan. Tristan looks like he is having so much fun being the king of the mountain. Janay can't help not laughing her guts out.

Here are the little ones having some fun.

Jason & Tom verses Janay & Matt having a chicken fight in the pool. It looks like no one won. But they sure were having fun!

Nice Pool Pics

Here is is Rebekah's turn to try and stay on someone's shoulders, it is either Jason, Billy, or Tommy's shoulder. While the younger generation looks on with glee.

This picture is my favorite because we have Jen and Steph and their kids all enjoying the pool. They all look like a very happy bunch.

Olivia looks on while Maree' and Leanna are having fun in the pool. Tristan just loves his goggles, LOL!

Fun in the pool!

Tom was carrying Janay on his shoulders, while Adam Stephan had other things on his mind, and I wonder what.

Billy is carrying Janay and Tristan on his shoulders, while Jason and Tom laugh and watch.

I guess it was who could hold the most weight on their shoulders; here is Tommy holding Jason and Tristan, with the others in the pool look on and watch.

Some pool pics and other family

The pool that day was a GREAT relief to the scorcher heat we were having that week.

Family Reunion, 2008

Here is our favorite uncle, Uncle Bud. If is wasn't for his wife, Aunt Mary, this reunion would have never surfaced. She past two years ago and we sure do miss her a lot.

Uncle Bud's son Glen was one of the cooks for the day. I believe that is the back of Adam, he was helping with the cooking, also.

Here is Glen's girlfriend, but I'm sorry I can't remember her name at this time. Sitting next to her is Glen's sister Jill's, husband Bruce.

Our Family Reunion, 2008

Jeri's husband Bruce is sitting, while someone we can't see talking to him, with cousin Denise in the background with her two sons, Jason and Adam with their better halves.

Chuck's cousin Sharon is sitting with her daughter, Vicki and her hubby John, with their daughter Ann Marie looking on.

We had Stevie Gordeuk from "The Norm Band" fill-in while Gene is healing from surgery

What an awesome guitar player Stevie is. He is the lead player for "The Norm Band." He is real good friends with JR, that's how we got him to fill-in for Gene.

Stevie was laughing so much at this woman dancing in front of the band, it was hilarious. You couldn't help laughing yourself.
Larry, I think that was what his name is, played the harmonica for one song. Boy was he good! He toured with several famous bands back in the 80's & 90's. He told me, but I can't remember right now.

Patches and her treat

She is just so darn cute. I just can't believe how we ever lived without her. She is need of a haircut, but we have to wait until we have some extra money, and hopefully that will be soon. She is starting to get some matted hair on her back part of her body. But she is still my little cutie. You can really tell how much she is enjoying that treat because she is licking her chops. I can just imagine what is going thru her mind, yum yum boy is this good!

Patches on Kids Picnic Table

I was doing laundry and the big dogs were in the house and Patches was missing, so I went to the laundry room and looked out the window and looked what I saw. I just had to go get the camera and snap some pictures. First Dutchess had to investigate and then Cody had to, also. She was up there for the longest time just enjoying the sun and heat of the morning. She is my little one as I nicknamed her. Now, Chuck calls her his little one too.

My puppies and their treats

I have these snack twists that doggies just love to pieces. Here they are all three of them enjoying their treats. Dutchess II eats hers so fast and she tries to steal Patches, but look out cuz Patches growls at her and chases her away from her treat, LOL. She is so funny when it comes to her toys and treats. You think she was this little mean doggie and she is just a little pussy cat in disguise.
