Leanna The Little Artist

Leanna decided she wanted to draw her family, she has become quite the little artist in the family, LOL. She drew her brother Justin and put him in the back of the picture. I wonder why?

On the top is a rainbow and rain in a heart. Then from left to right, it's her Daddy, me, Timothy, Leanna (with hair just like the Irish step dancer girls) and Justin.

Steph's mom pointed out that gee, Leanna put Justin so far away from the rest of us and last.......wonder why?

I think she did that because Justin's wheels are always turning in high speed and looking for TROUBLE.

Look what mommy Steph found!

My daughter-in-law, Steph, sure has her hands full with 3 children and 1 more little boy on the way. She was busy cleaning up a mess that one of the boys made, when she realized that Timothy was being very quiet. Look, what she found he was doing in the pantry. Oh boy! Do I remember those days when my boys were young and innocent and just so darn cute. You couldn't help but laugh at the little troubles they got into. Now, they are funny, but back then they sure weren't to me.

We are very proud of our "Leanna"

My granddaughter Leanna won the "Beary Best Award" in school for the month of February. To achieve this award a child must show good behavior, put forth effort, show a positive attitude and get along with other children. It sure helps that she has younger siblings at home to practice with getting along, etc.

It's Another Boy

My son Tom and his wife Steph are expecting another baby boy. Leanna and I were hoping for a little girl, but our dear Lord knows best.

Leanna has a set of bunk beds in her room and she wanted to share the other one with a sister. Well, maybe her mommy and daddy will let her have a sleepover sometime. That is always fun for little girls.

I believe the baby boy is due to arrive in July. I'll keep you all posted.

My brother Butch and his family

Here is my only brother, his name is Edward, but we all called him Butch. He is with his wife Carol, son Brent, and daughter Tricia. We are all here celebrating Thanksgiving dinner at the Candlelight Inn, which is now called Blue. Tricia is now a senior in Nazareth High School and Brent is in his second year of college. He wants to be a police officer or in some kind of law enforcement.

My mom, pap-pap, & nana

Speaking of grandparents here is a picture of them with my mom. Steph's mom, said how she had a wonderful grandmother, well let me tell you my grandmother was a very special lady too. She too had a lot of love in her little body. She loved her 2 grandkids a lot, which was my brother and me. She was a very wise woman.

Her and I were very close. I loved to listen to her talk about the olden days, when she and my pap-pap first met. She was 14 yrs old when she met my pap-pap and he was 18 yrs old. They wanted to get married from the first time they layed eyes on each other. Everytime they made a decision to get married someone else would do it. Then they would have to wait, again. They went together for 9 yrs and then they went and got secretively married, because they both got tired of waiting. My nana would wear her wedding ring around her neck on a chain, so noone would know they got married. Well, one day she forgot to take it off when she came to the dinner table and her sister saw it and YELLED, Elizabeth got married. Well, the cat was out of the bag then.

Her parents were angry, but what could they do she was of age. So, my grandparents decided to get a place of their own and that was history.

My nana used to tell me how much my pap-pap made in his first paycheck back then. How much their rent was on an apartment. What a loaf of bread and milk cost. It is so strange to hear how cheap things were back then and how life was so much simpler.

Our precious times with our grandparents were the picnics in their backyard. Play quoits, beanbags, card games, and music, while my pap-pap cooked on the grill. My nana, my mom, and me would rock on the glider together. I would do all the pushing while they lifted their feets. I liked to rock fast where they liked to rock slow. I rocked to hard that we had this red rocker that had iron legs. They had it a long time, until I began rocking on it, when I was a teen and broke it. I thought my pap-pap would have gotten mad at me because I broke it, but he didn't. He said of well it lasted a long time, and that was all he said. Picnics were never the same without that red rocker.

I think my dilemma is over.......

So far, I haven't been harrassed by these two mothers, lately. I haven't seen them out and about with their petition to get me off the corner. I think they finally got through their heads, that I do my job with exstreme passion for the kids. When I'm treated nice by a parent, I treat them nice back. That is my motto in life, you treat a person the way you want to be treated. I wouldn't want to be treated the way these two have been treating me. I'm so glad that people are finally seeing what whackos they are.

Thank you to all me many friends that I have met over the years, from crossing your kids. I really appreciate the loyalty you have showed me.

Pics of Me Smiling, LOL!

Here you go Steph, I hope you like them, LOL!

I like this New Year's Eve pic the best. It was from New Year's Eve, 2005 into 2006.

This pic is from Stemmie's Place on our 33rd wedding anniversary, Sept. 29, 2006

This third pic is from Chuck's 55th birthday surprise party at the West Easton A.A, on Jan. 27, 2007

Now everyone can see the few pounds I put on, YUK!

Happy Anniversay To Me!

It is 5 yrs today, since having Weight Loss Surgery. Here is my before pic and after pic.

Yes, it isn't easy to not eat the way I used to eat. I really wish they could have performed brain surgery, so I would eat more healthier. It is hard when you like food. Why does food have to taste so GOOD?

Yes, I have put on some of my weight, but at least I'm not as heavy as I once was. I'm thankful that I can only eat a little bit at a time, compared to a normal eating person.

Another Snow Day!

Yippee, we have off from school duty today. Now I don't have to hear it from certain people that I'm not doing my job right on the corner.

Hopefully, soon this problem will go away.

Chuck's Mom

Here is Chuck's Mom, Peggy. She is holding our third grandchild, Justin. He is our first grandson to Tom and his wife Stephanie. She resides in Gracedale Nursing Home where she suffers from dementia and macular degeneration. She is almost blind. It is so sad to see her mind slipping away from reality. She still thinks dad is still here with us. She is so funny at times to hear her talk about dad and another woman, LOL. At least she isn't nasty with it, she is so darn funny.

It is sad when she remembers that her loved ones have gone home to live with Jesus.

My Mom's Birthday

March 3rd, would have been my mom's 72nd birthday. Usually when it is our birthday we took each other out to dinner. She liked Old Country Buffet, in Whitehall, PA.

It still seems strange not to be able to call and hear her voice.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!

Hope you are enjoying it there with Jesus and your family & friends.

We do miss you.

More to this Dilema.....

My girlfriend found out that she (this troublemaker woman) gave an address to the principal that she is living on Ferry St. So, I went to Ferry St. to look for this address and lo' and behold I know the woman that lives at that address. I went to the daughter's house on Ferry St. and she called her mom up to her house , which is only about five doors up. I explained to them what this whacko woman is doing and saying about living there. She was very upset about the whole thing. She told me and my girlfriend that she doesn't live there and that her kids don't live there either.

We found out that she gave the school a legal document saying she signed over the rights to her kids to this woman so her kids could go to the Wilson School District. After talking to the woman at the Ferry St. address she said last year the whacko lady and her husband were having problems and she left her & her kids live there to finish out last school year, which was 2005-2006.

It gets more and more interesting everyday......

The next saga to this event.....

Today I found out some interesting things about this whole situation. There was a PTA meeting Thursday night and a woman named Debbie brought up this petition about the parking situation out in front of the school. She told the teachers, parents, and others at the meeting that she is going door to door getting signatures on this petition about the parking problems. Debbie signed the petition because she doesn't like the parking situation and the way the principal crosses the parents with their children from the front of the school to the administration parking lot. Little did she know it was really about getting rid of me. Other parents chimed in and gave her the right story behind this petition. Come to find out this Debbie went to school with Billy & Tommy, she graduated in 1992. She told the other parents that I have been doing it since she was in school and that I was a very good crossing guard.

I ran into a woman at the Bagelsmith on Butler St. and I asked her if she went to the PTA last night. She said yes, that it was her that opened her mouth about this petition thing. She said the teachers weren't aware of the problem, but knew there was something going on with me and some parent.

Today was the fourth day I was video taped by this whacko parent and her girlfriend. These people are really nuts!

So, I decided that if she wants to play with fire I will make sure she is the one that gets burned and not me. I got proof that she is living in Easton, with a picture of her mailbox and her address off of the whitepages.com and gave them to the principal so he could confront her.

Well It's been a while.....Sorry!

Let me get you all caught up with me and my world.

First, let me tell you that I have been harrassed by a parent whose children go to Wilson Elementary School. She and her girlfriend have been getting signatures for her petition to get me off the corner, where I cross. She has 36 signatures that I know of and she has been going door to door in the Borough to get more signatures. Some of the people that she has gotten signatures from she has been misleading them saying it is to solve the parking situation at the elementary school.

Second, she and her girlfriend took the petition to the Borough council meeting on February 12th and made a formal complaint about me. She told the council that I need anger management, I need to be retrained as a guard, and I need to be removed from my post. She said I'm rude to the parents. She said I am yelling and swearing at them. Also, I am yelling at the kids.

Third, articles have been in the Easton Express Times paper and the Easton News (which is a free paper in the Lehigh Valley), about what she has been saying about me. There has been letters to the editor, too. The first letter to the editor was written back in November, where a man heard only me yelling because it was the tail end of the whole cituation. Then I wrote a letter the next day to explain what he heard and how it came about. It all started when I walked to my corner and came upon a van parked in front of the school. I asked the parents standing in front of the school whose van did it belong to. This woman said it was her's and did I have a problem. I said yes, it can't park in front of the school. I asked her four times to move it and that's when the whole argument started. I called the some of the parents "IDIOTS". It was meant for the parents that keep doing the same thing over and over again. But, I really meant it for her. I finally got the principal of the school, where she followed me in to the school and starting fighting with me again. I explained it to him and he told her to take it outside. Then, he asked her to move her car. She said she would do it for him because he asked her nicely, but she wouldn't do it for me because I was very rude to her. Plus, she said other things.

Fourth, she and her girlfriend have been taking a video of me crossing the kids and talking to the parents. I don't know what she think she is going to accomplish with the video, because she can't post the video or show it in public without my concent. The parents are in an uproar over her taking video pictures of their children. So, this parent talked to his lawyer friend to look into this matter. He told me that I have the right to tell her to stop taking videos of me and if she doesn't stop I can file a criminal complaint against her. So, I told her on February 28th to stop taking video pictures of me. Yesterday, she wasn't taking a video, so hopefully it will stop.

Fifth, I found out with my detectiveness, that she doesn't even live in Wilson Borough anymore. She moved to Easton, where her children should be going to school.
